Bugs Bunny ft Elmer Fudd - The Wacky Wabbit - Merrie Melodies - Looney Tunes Cartoon

The Wacky Wabbit is a Warner Bros. cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series. It was released on May 2, 1942. It was directed by Robert Clampett. It stars Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd (both are voiced by Mel Blanc and Arthur Q. Bryan).
Plot summary

The cartoon begins with the fattened version of Elmer Fudd prospecting for gold, singing "Oh! Susanna", except that instead of 1849, the cartoon is set during World War II, with the implication that Elmer hopes to donate the gold to the war effort: "Oh, Susanna, don't you cwy for me, I'm gonna get me wots of gold, "V for Victowy!", not to mention a "Buy US Savings Bonds and Stamps" sign shown early into the short.

Bugs Bunny appears during the second verse and finishes it with Elmer, singing harmony. From that point on, in a role change from the usual, Bugs pesters Elmer without apparent provocation, as he did in Wabbit Twouble, from burying Elmer in the hole he was digging to cutting off Elmer's suspenders and revealing the girdle he's wearing: "Don't waugh. I'll bet pwenty of you men wear one of these."

Instead of fleeing, this time Elmer turns toward revenge, especially when he observes that Bugs has a gold-filled tooth: "I'm came hewe for gold, and I'm gonna get it!" A furious fight ensues, and Elmer comes up the apparent "winner", holding up a gold tooth, saying, "Euweka! Gold at wast! Heh-heh-heh-heh!" Elmer grins and laughs his usual laugh, and at the same time Bugs mocks Elmer with the same words, dropped-"r" and laugh, revealing that his tooth is intact and that Elmer is holding his own knocked-out gold tooth. So now it turns out that Bugs is the actual winner. Iris out.

Bugs Bunny ft. Elmer Fudd - Fresh Hare (1942) Looney Tunes Classic Animated Cartoon

Fresh Hare is a Warner Bros. theatrical Merrie Melodies cartoon. It was directed by Isadore "Friz" Freleng, written by Michael Maltese, and produced by Leon Schlesinger. It was released to theatres on August 22, 1942, and is a play on the term "fresh air".
In this short, the rotund early-1940s version of Elmer Fudd is portrayed as a Mountie, in pursuit of Bugs Bunny, who is accused of a litany of crimes, as shown to be stated by Elmer Fudd. The crimes, as corrected here for Elmer's rounded-l-and-r speech, are listed below:

"Resisting an officer, assault and battery, trespassing, disturbing the peace, miscellaneous misdemeanors, public nuisance, traffic violations, going through a boulevard stop, jaywalking, triple parking, conduct unbecoming to a rabbit", and (again) "violating traffic regulations".

As a result of these accusations, Bugs is in big trouble, being chased across the snow-packed tundra of Canada by Elmer; posters throughout the short indicate that Bugs himself is wanted dead or alive (though preferably dead). Elmer tries to get Bugs out of his burrow, but rather than get Bugs in the handcuffs, he gets a bomb instead and frantically searches for his keys. Bugs then looks for the handcuff key while going through keys to "the garage, the car, the front door, Bugs then whistles to the audience "woo woo!", and the back door", and finally has the key, but Elmer blows up with a tremendous explosion off-screen; and as Bugs tells the audience "Oh, well", Elmer finally catches and tells him he's in trouble but Bugs distracts Elmer by wearing his hat and impersonating a Mountie and telling Elmer, "Attention! Why, look at you! You call yourself a Mountie? You're a disgrace to the regiment! I'm gonna drop you out of the service!" as he inspects Elmer before tearing Elmer's uniform off.

When Elmer realizes he's been tricked, he begins to give chase. A chase scene involves a path completely under the snow that ends when Elmer crashes into a pine tree. The impact causes all the snow to fall off the tree, which reveals Christmas decorations, and Elmer emerges from underneath with snow on his face that gives him a Santa Claus appearance. The song Jingle Bells plays in the background, and Bugs says to the astonished Elmer: "Merry Christmas, Santy!". When Elmer finds Bugs, Bugs is seen taunting a snowman that looks exactly like him by saying, "So you call yourself a Mountie! Heh heh heh heh! You can't catch me. Why, you couldn't even catch a cold! You know what I'm going to do to you? I'm gonna punch ya right square in the nose!" and punches Elmer right in the nose when Elmer stands right behind Bugs, causing Elmer to crash into a tree behind him and reveal a heart with arrow stuck in it.

After some more hijinks, a weeping Elmer Fudd gives up and labels himself as a "disgwace to the wegiment" for his failure to catch the resourceful rabbit, at which point Bugs willingly turns himself in. Offscreen, Bugs is sentenced to death by firing squad. As the firing squad lines up to execute Bugs, Elmer tells Bugs that he can make one last wish before he dies, which prompts Bugs to break out into "Dixie". The scene then transitions into a Minstrel show/blackface gag set down south, where Elmer, Bugs and the firing squad perform the chorus of "Camptown Races."

Bugs Bunny ft. Elmer Fudd - The Wabbit Who Came to Supper (1942) Classic Animated Cartoon

The Wabbit Who Came to Supper is a 1942 American Warner Brothers Merrie Melodies cartoon featuring early appearances by Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. The Elmer character is in a transitional state from his earliest appearances in Bob Clampett's shorts and the appearance which he adopted around 1943.

This short is one of several pre-August 1948 WB cartoon shorts that lapsed into the public domain due to United Artists failing to renew the copyright in time.

The title of the short is a reference to the 1942 Warner Brothers film version of the 1939 George S. Kaufman Broadway comedy The Man Who Came to Dinner, in which an overbearing house-guest threatens to take over the lives of a small-town family.
As Elmer has Bugs Bunny cornered on his hunting trip, Elmer receives a telegram from his uncle Louie who leaves him $3 million in his will, as long as he doesn't harm any animals, especially rabbits. Elmer changes his tune to one of uncharacteristic niceness and lets Bugs free.

Bugs, with characteristic élan, takes full advantage of the situation by sneaking into Elmer's house (already shown to be that of at least an upper middle class person) while Elmer is gone and making himself at home. As Elmer returns, he hears Bugs singing "Angel in Disguise", while taking a shower and later shaving; Bugs uses the opportunity to purposely aggravate Elmer, knowing that he has Uncle Louie as blackmail and because of this Elmer cannot effectively punish Bugs in any way at the risk of losing his inheritance.

Elmer tries to coax Bugs into leaving, gently patting him on the head, which Bugs claims is hurting him and threatens to call Uncle Louie. Elmer apologizes to Bugs then tricks him into walking out of the house. Bugs resorts to faking a serious illness (with a level of melodrama that, in a moment of breaking the fourth wall, Bugs is convinced will garner him an Oscar) prompting Elmer to take him back in.

Later a special delivery letter arrives for Elmer, which informs him that Uncle Louie has died and that he now inherits the $3 million. However, the amount of the various estate taxes, including a $2 million inheritance tax, claims the entirety of the inheritance and leaves Elmer owing Louie's lawyer $1.98. Furious at Bugs' torment and intrusion for all that, Elmer, at his wits' end, is free to vent his anger on Bugs and chases him round the house until Bugs escapes out the front door. Elmer then receives a large Easter egg delivery. Upon opening it, an impossibly large litter of baby Bugs Bunnies who say 'Eh, what's up Doc?' in unison, begin to leap around the house.

Hunting for what you need for your wedding Enjoy these Tips from Bridal Spectacular

BridalSpectacular.com Hunting for what you need for your wedding will be so much fun at a bridal show. Visit our website to find out when the next local wedding expo is so you can hunt in style.

I LOVE to hunt! Not out in the woods like Elmer Fudd. I like to hunt for things, new things, unique things. Over the course of planning our wedding I hunted in a lot of different places: Magazines, Websites, and of course Pinterest. My favorite hunting place though, was my local wedding show. Picture a big, bright room full of ideas and inspiration. It was exciting. There were lots of cakes to taste, I probably tasted them all. I got to see beautiful flowers and not just the little pictures of flowers on my phone, but the real thing. I was looking for some unique touches, you know things you don't see at EVERY wedding and I found them! I'm still looking for the perfect dress so I took time out to watch the fashion show. I didn't find THE dress but I found the shop where I'm going to look first. The wedding show made hunting easy and really fun.
